Daniel + Emily Dinsmore
Dan was building his dream photo studio in 2009 when he started dating his future wife, Emily. She was working as a hairstylist and was booked for many of the same weddings that Dan photographed. The two of them often talked about opening up a wedding venue with their knowledge of the industry. In 2012 while planning their own wedding they noticed a lack of unique wedding spaces in the area and began to get serious in planning their own space. Fast-forward to 2017; their plans become reality. With their combined wedding experience and eye for design, the two hope to fulfill the area's need for a truly exceptional wedding and event space.
Dan has been a photographer for 17 years, specializing in weddings for most of that time. Emily has a background in cosmetology and a Bachelor of Science in History. They have two little boys that are the center of their world and they love to throw parties at every chance they get. They are thrilled to be apart of local weddings and events and to be a part of the St. Peter community.
Megan is our general manager and main consultant. She began her career as a photographer for Dinsmore Photography. With having a background in both photography and catering, she has plenty of experience working in the wedding industry and enjoys working directly with couples. Her goal for each event is to make it stress-free and easy for the wedding party and families. She is fun to work with and will help make your day, the BEST DAY EVER.
They always say that it takes a village! The Capitol Room wouldn't be the space it is today without the help of all of our friends and family.
